Hey all

Has anyone played this yet?

Busy [-]downloading[/-] buying it, wondering what it's like...

:)

P.S. I know there is an existing thread, but that was posted a while ago and not many people had played it then.

[ame=http://www.amazon.com/Electronic-Arts-Need-for-Speed/dp/B000RI17CA]Amazon[/ame] seems to have stock.

Edit: how on earth did that Amazon favicon appear there?!

From what I've read it should be good, it's not going to have some stupid storyline (after all who buys a racing game to watch a soap drama with crap acting). Though what I've heard from people who have played it, it doesn't sound good.

If you like I could install it and check it out and give my opinion, though personally NFS has gone down the drain, the only good ones being the old Porshe Unleashed and Persuits.

ITS ***!
Radio ads say there are cops, but there isn't.
this game is basically track racing only... no, it is ONLY track racing!
u know how bloody boring that is!
I'm happy i downloaded it, played it and now i can delete it!

The worst so far has to be the dude playing RaZor in NFS:MW. Such a maergat, husky-voiced dude who is in dire need of a klap.

lol, that whole attitude they give characters in the Need for Speed games is sad.

Why do they have to be jerks? Why do there have to be any characters in a racing game at all? NFS Porsche Unleashed and NFS Hot Persuit 2 as examples didn't have any characters if I remember right and they were alot better.

Yeah, MW is still worth playing, even now. Looks awesome, plays awesome. Carbon felt like some half-@rsed add on for Most Wanted. I finished it in days, then promptly uninstalled it.

All those Muscle cars and their brick-with-space-rocket-attached-to-it handling is far worse than that RaZor tool...
