Hi this is my first question so im sorry if it is not rite. We are renting a flat in parklands benoni and do not have telephone wires running to us. However there is a cell phone tower that is about 200 meters away from me. I need uncapped internet that is ideal for heavy pc and ps4 gaming. I am not a tech guy so i really need help can anyone help me please

Sorry you won't get that with mobile operators.... Your best bet would be LTE its fast and has a low latency. Its not uncapped though.

Would be your best bet. Its the cheapest and works with LTE. 8ta/Telkom Mobile could be your next option and maybe cell c but they will be congested most likely....

You could also try WISPs cause they offer uncapped access but its expensive and usually not worth it.

Alternatively you can look into iBurst they do have an uncapped solution but it doesn't come cheap at all.

Correction they no longer offer such service.

As cavedog mentioned look into LTE but the service doesn't come cheap and no uncapped solution.

You can try uncapped Neotel LTE, but they don't have coverage everywhere. You can check if you are covered on their site.
If you don't have coverage then you could look at some of these: (Prices might not be 100% correct)

Pre-paid:
Telkom Mobile 60GB + 60GB at R1800 once off.
Cell-C Giga 100 at R2500 once off.

Post paid:
Afrihost(using MTN network): 20GB p/m at R497 p/m
Telkom Mobile SmartInternet 15GB Promo at R399 p/m (sim only)
Telkom Mobile 10GB + 10GB at R299 p/m
Cell-C 10GB p/m at R499 p/m

Check the coverage maps first before trying out any of these packages. You could buy a prepaid sim from each, load a little airtime/data package and test out the latency+speed and you get from them. It is best to test between 20:00 and 22:00 to see how the speed will be when it is congested.

iBurst also has uncapped wireless, but I am not sure what the latency is like for gaming. Also check the coverage map.

EDIT: Personally I would recommend Afrihost even though it isn't uncapped.
