Need Help Formatting and Reinstalling WinXP

Hi.

I Have to format my HDD, "C:/" in order to Reinstall Windows XP obviously.
Now, my 250GB HDD is Partitioned into +-125GB each. So, I backedup all my files, pictures, ect to the other partition named "D:/"

How do I format and reinstall Windows on C without losing all my data on D??

Just boot up with the XP disc, and go through all the hooha at the beginning...then format C Drive and reinstall windows.

It shouldn't be much of a train smash.

Yeah the windows XP install will allow to choose which partition you want to format and install on to.

Ok, This might be a noob question (hence i'm only 15)

I get:

To setup WindowsXP on selected item, Press ENTER

To Create a new Partition press C

To delete a partition press D



C: Partition1 (NTFS)

D: Partition2 (NTFS)

I dont see a option stating FORMAT, or am I missing it somewhere?

What should I choose, as I dont want to loose ANYTHING on D.

which item is show as selected?

It should show C as the currently selected item.. just press enter to go to the next screen... it will then ask you if you want to format the selected item.

Push Enter, then it will take you too the next options.

If your drive is partitioned, then you won't lose any data on the D drive, so it's all cool bananas

Everthing is working now. Installed SP2 & 3 all the Drivers and Now its running like a new pc.
