I need help! I've googled as much I could but still no luck.
I've put together an htpc with an Asus E45m1-pro MB, 4GB DDR3 RAM and 2 x OCZ Agility3 SSDs (1x 60GB and 1 x 120GB). The idea was to use the 60GB for the OS and the 120GB as a temp drive for PVR recording. I installed Windows 7 and all worked OK (at least that proves that the hardware works) except that my PCI tuner card is apparently not Win7 compatible. So I'm stuck with xp, which I don't mind as I've been using it like that for years on an old pc.
So I boot up with the XP CD and the installation goes well until half way where XP "installs devices". Then I get this BSOD error: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
There are lots of reports on the web about this, could be RAM related or driver related, unfortunately I have no other DDR3 RAM modules to test nor other SATA drives to swop around and troubleshoot.
Could this be because I'm mixing SSD and XP?
Thanks
