So the outlook had no problems last night, this morning(pc was in sleep mode) sat in front of the system and opened outlook

3 normal daily mails came through and next suddenly these emails keep coming in ,hasnt stopped yet, same emails receiving them non stop.

then after each 5-6th email it says outlook needs to be closed, close it and open and same thing over and over?

Please help

Exchange or POP3 ?

If Exchange try logging into OWA and see what's going on there.

Is it the same 5th-6th email that this problem is occurring with, or is it a new ones every time?

Use Scanpst to check your pst file for corruption.

This behaviour occurs when a batch of emails do not download correctly without errors and then no complete signal is sent to the mail server. Causing it to then retry the sending.
