Have three tvs connected to a SD PVR and it keeps showing tv link overload error on the tvs. How can i fix this?

Thanks

Has it been working before?

XtraView AFAIK only works with two TV's

No it is not extraview. Just one SD PVR decoder all together has four tvs but the one tv is connected via RCA cables, has a cable running from RF out then has a three way splitter, one cable then goes to one tv, the other to further tv and at that further tv is the tv link. At this tv is a two way split for the cable to another tv then.

I dont think it has anything to do with your tv's. The RCA and RF cables only carries video and audio signals. Maybe a kid messed around with the SD remote. May be worth looking at your menu options. The pin code is 9949 I think.

Might also be worth going for some training on the systems you're charging people to fix...

Your RF set back amplifier and co-axial cable splitters MUST all have a DC pass through capability, as this DC signal is required for the TV LINK eye to function correctly on the SD-PVR.

Also, You MUST disable the TV LINK function on the SD PVR's set up menu BEFORE you fiddle with ANY TV LINK eyes installed because the moment you disconnect such a cable this error will appear.

Once the TV LINK/S are connected, then switch on the SD-PVR and re-enable the TV LINK function in the set up menu again.

If error persists it means there is a problem with the cable and/or the connectors on the cable.

+ he must install dc blockers on the co-axial lines that don't have tv eyes installed.
