Need help please!!!!

Hello and welcome, I really need help as telkom can't help me.

We currently moved into a new house, it had all the telephone lines and wires in the house. Telkom then activated the sevice to a 4mbps . Everything was fine and worked like a dream, untill........ about 2 weeks ago .
The line is at full speed and drops at a slow rate lower and lower, and ping starts at 30ms and goes up to 2700ms!!! This happens every hour or so, untill i reset my router. This problem also 24 hours of the day. This is very frustrating as i recently got my xbox one and can't play online as intended.

I used to play well 2 weeks ago, but something randomly just happened. I phoned telkom twice yesterday, they have done a "port reset" and nothing is wrong at the exchange. I have hard resetted my router, tried different ports, but Nothing!!!!!!!

Is it maybe a better choice to switch to mweb?
Should i cancel my subscription with telkom and simply give up?
Please help me
 
Sounds like a line issue. Post line stats the next time you have this issue.
 
I have had a similar line issue because of a security alarm connected to my line without the correct line filters.
 
Check your ADSL pots filters aren't faulty.
They can play hard ball with your line when faulty!
 
For a second I thought OP was Rouxenator.

Make sure all telephones have POTS filters on 'em. This sounds like a case of a noisy line.
