Need help! Relocating from Bloemfontein to JHB

Hi Guys,

My girlfriend received a promotion and is moving to JHB. The company is based in Devland.

Can you please help me and give any recommendation for where to start looking for a place to stay. Places that we have looked at is Alberton, Vanderbijlpark, Vereeniging and Northcliff.

Any recommendation will be appreciated.

If it's the one you find when you punch it into Google Maps, it's somewhere in Soweto.

As for OP, Vereeniging is pretty far from Northcliff. Based on what did you get to the mentioned areas?

Vereeniging and Vanderbiljpark are close to one another. It's a very long drive from the rest of those places though. Overall, the "collages" are sending you on a treasure hunt across Gauteng.
 
Have a look at Glenvista, Gelanada and Winchester Hills. Maybe the guys from the souf can give you better info.

Just remember you have to bring a baseball bat and any Portuguese family that you might have with you.
 
I think Linmeyer would be a decent option. Meredale and Mondeor are also good - closer too.
 
I commute to Braamfontein from Vereeniging everyday. Take me less time that some colleagues who live 15km's from work.
