Hey all,

I need help, just bought a TP LINK WA730RE range extender, because my netgear dgn2200 doesn't provide sufficient range, so what I did now is I plugged a 40 meter cat5 cable from my router which has the 1 ssid (wifi1) to the range extender which has another ssid (TP link), but somehow the TP LINK's wifi cancelled out my routers wifi because now I cannot pick wifi1 up anywhere in the house and I can only find the extender which is TP LINK...

So I need some assistance, how do I have both wifi's active and have the same ssid if possible?

So that when I'm down at the section of the house I can pick up wifi1 & when I'm at the other section I can pick up wifi1 or wifi1_1?

Ok, so I managed to re enable the wifi from the router and now have both ssid's active through out the entire house, now I just need to know how to change the ssid of the Tp link range extender?

Anything? Anybody? Somebody? I just need help changing the TP Links SSID and change the security to WPA2, i have no idea how to manage the TP Link Range Extender?

Manual doesn't help at all, tried it, manual is saying i must plug the Ethernet (connected to the range extender) into my PC, and go to 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 and if my IP range is not the same as that ip range, then i should change it to similar, after doing all of this, i still get the same "Page can not be loaded" error message.(By the way, this is regardless of whether i change my IP to match the range)

Hence the question's for assistance?
