Need help to connect two wired LANs via wireless?

I would really appreciate it if someone could me assist me as I have searched all over the net for a solution to my query and can not find a solution.

I have two seperate wired networks each consisting of 3 PCs that are connected in a workgroup via a network router. Each router inturn connects to its own DSL connection via a Mega 100WR router. I would like to connect these two networks wireless using the Mega 100WR access points as i am unable to use cable between the two networks. At present these two routers are only used to connect to the internet. I do not have any wireless devices connecting to them wirelessly. Can I configure the two Mega 100WR routers to see each other and link the two wired networks. If so could you give me a step by step explanation of how to do this. If this is not possible, what would I need to be able to do this? I have read that the access points must be set to bridged mode and I have done this but dont know how to go further. How do I get the two AP two see each other? Does the IP address ranges on the two networks have to be int the same (for example all in the 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.255 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0) range. What about MAC address where do I put these in?

I would really appreciate it if you could assist me with this problem, I a nube with all this wireless and only recently got my wired network setup
 
not sure what the Mega 100WR can do. If it can do what what i say below then that is great...

you have two ways of connecting wireless network

AP1 - wireless mode = WDS
AP2 - wireless mode = WDS

other option

AP1 - wireless mode = AP mode
AP2 - wireless mode = Client mode

If the Mega 100 does not support Client or WDS mode then start running cable
 
WDS puts it into a sort of ad-hoc mode doesnt it? or does it still work on the peering mode of AP and client?
 
The router supports supports wds. I have put both routers in bridge mode under wds as I cant see a setting for client mode. Where to from here? These are are the other settings under WDS.

Wireless PrintServer??????

I've got somewhat the same problem but the hardware differs. I've got a Linksys Wireless-G PrintServer (WPS54G) with a Ethernet Port, USB Port and power adapter port. I plugged a Wireless LAN usb adapter into my pc and started with the installation guides. I can't get the wireless LAN usb adapter get to recognise the PrintServer. A friend told me i need a wireless router. The only question i've got is, if the PrintServer is wireless, why does it have a Ethernet Port? For the router? How do i set this config up?

If anyone could assist me in this, i would appreciate it very much.
 
the print server is like a PC on its own (with its own unique IP), it needs something to announce it to the network (access point). You will also see that if you plug the lan cable into it it will also not get recognized since for wired lan it will need a switch.

So either plug it in directly to the PC with the USB or go get an nice wireless access point, then it will work.
 
there is only 1 usb port and i suppose that would be for the printer. so what i did is, i took an ethernet cable and plugged it directly to my pc. 100%. but if i want the wireless adapter to connect to the print server wirelessly, nothing happens. does wireless technology differ so much from standard ethernet?

if everyone sticks to the standard it doesn't differ but some manufactures do not stick to the entire standard so often different brands are not interoperable. if they are both wifi approved (wifi alliance) they should work together without a problem.
