I am looking for instructions to program the motor and set the limits after the torsion spring snapped and was replaced.
I realise this a very old motor, so probably not many people familiar with it :). There is a small red button labelled "limit program" which is meant for this, but the pulley seems to stop at odd places, and even tries to move beyond the end point.
There is also a jumper switch which can be placed over 2 prongs labelled "load setting", or over 3 prongs (2 possible positions) labelled "light program" and "Rx program".

If you have one of these motors, can you please check where the jumper is placed, and over which poles? If you remember how to reset it and re-program the limits, please post the instructions - I would be truly grateful!

Hi,

Reviving this thread hoping someone can assist.

I know to know how to set the limits on a coroma 2000 motor. Have tried researching but have had no luck. Can anyone advise please?

Did you ever get details on this problem. I had exactly the same problem today.

Emailed the supplier (Coroma) today and obtained a pdf manual of the thing.

This should help me somewhat.

Hi can somebody please send me the manual as well. My mboards may have been replaced as they read ET systems AC1-GD2. Both of mine are the same. The one I have no problem to program the open and closed position as it is a simple press of the program button on the board and then stopping with my remote (shermo external receiver), but the other one has a mind of its own. Works with the remote to open or close but not during programming.

has anyone tried this to see if it works?

The Coromaster 2000 does not operate off limit switches. It has a quarter-revolution optical pulse counter. To re-program the open and close limits do the following: Ensure that the door is open at least a couple of feet. Press the reset button once or twice Short out pushbutton and common and hold until close limit and then release. Door should stop at your new close limit. Wait 5 seconds. Short out pushbutton and common and door will open. Hold the short until open limit and then release. Limits should now be set.

What's the problem with the motor though? Surprised people have not had them replaced yet.

Please can someone send me the manual too :) this ET board seems impossible to figure out. It's unlike programming any other ET remote
