Need HELP with ADSL Pacakge

Hi All,

I am fortunate that my Company is willing to subsidise my Data needs. I have 2 options, 2GB 3G Cell C Data or a 4Mbps Uncapped ADSL excluding the Line Rental? What would be your choice, currently have a 2Mbps Uncapped DSL. Also is it possible for me to take out the ADSL Package if the Telkom phone line is In my Brother`s name? Will this be an issue?

Has the company offered you Neotel also or just ADSL? Neobroadband is often more reliable connection wise
 
Hi Skinn, don`t use much data on the move but took an MTN 3G package because it was convenient. Signal is terrible and they want to increase the OOB rate to 99c / Mb. We have only been offered IS 3G & the ADSL for now Arnold.

In that case sign up for the telkom 4gb uncapped deal where they also give you X amount of mobile data for free every month.
 
I'd push for ADSL. Though I'd very much like the opposite...i.e. company pays for the line rental and I pick data.

As for bro issue...no you can run any data on any line if you have the password unless the ISP locked the account to a specific ADSL number (not an issue for you)

Hi MWEB Guy, I work for MWEB Business and Internet Solutions is subsiding the cost up to R199 a month. The 3G Package only comes with a sim card, 2GB Data and is capped so you don`t go over the limit. I had the MTN 2GB 3G from you guys and was very unhappy. I have put in notice to cancel so, July is the Last Month. I don`t want to take out a 24 month contract again as good as the offer sounds. Already have a 2Mb Line at home and checked on UNIWEB that 4Mb is available. Only problem I will have to install repeaters to get the DSL signal to my room. Don`t you have a Month to Month with the Modem?
 
Thank you all for the input, I have taken the 2GB 3G package as it is capped and there is no OBB. Also it is subsidised so I don`t have to pay anything.
