Need help with an ADSL issue

As per the log from my router, this is happening A LOT. Like once every hour or so.

The DSL drops and then take 30 seconds to reconnect with it usually issuing me a new IP from the ISP. (Sometimes also limiting the speeds)

My ISP is Mweb but same issue persists with Afrihost. I have also tested this on 2 different routers with the results being the same.

I have called Telkom on 3 occasions with the first one they sending out a technician to have a look. He said he reset something on the exchange and the problem cleared up for about 4 days and then started again. I called Telkom again and have my port reset. That solved the problem for 1 day. On the 3rd call they reset my port again but this time it didn't solve the problem. Now I'm here.

The problem first started when I started using my internet at a more intense pace with HD streaming and large torrents.

Telkom says it's not a line issue.

I have no ping problems and the line is stable when connected but then I get these drops.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Let them move to another port at exch.

I once took my router the a neighbors house in the same area, connect my router and it was fine.
