Need help with CellC data modem

I need to use my Vodacom and VM sim in the MC75 USB Modem, CellC branded , tried the generic software , PPP Error , cannot find settings to input the APN . Any help out there will be appreciated

Your Vodacom SIM will not work in the Cell C modem. You can only use Cell C and VM SIMs.

The Cellc Usb modem will work with Vodacom network if you do not install the Software provided.
You need to install only the drivers and then add the modem to a new dialup connection , but you need to set the init string under modem properties for the correct APN.
The string is at + cgdcont=1,"ip","THE APN NAME"
Dialstring = *99***1#

But remeber this will only be GPRS and not EDGE as Vodacom does not have EDGE..
