Hi
I'm battling with a opel corsa 1.6 GSI. The timing is scrambled. I have replaced the idle control valve, the fuel pressure valve, new spark plugs and new spark plug wires. As soon as I change something the timing is ok. The moment I remove the battery and install it again the timing is buggered.
The exhaust manifold is getting red hot in about a minutes time. I have checked the keyway on the crank and it is in order. I have replaced the fuel pump as well as the filter.
Would appreciate if somebody could give me some information.
