need help with internet sharing

hi guys, i've got a netgear modem and i supplying internet to my neighbours. Is there a way, that i can set it up, that i can check who uses how much bandwith ? cause yesterday we've been goin through 2.2 gb and that was on prepaid...

Tell them to go buy their own cap and then set the modem to bridged mode.

Its less conflict with neighbors. Everybody does their own thing & no fights over who chowed the b/w.

Monitoring it is going to be a bit of a mission.

And its not a lot of trouble. 10seconds max to change it.

lots more complicated - the best would be to setup a proxy server. you can then run reports on exactly who downloads what.

Try a custom IPcop server. All you need is an old pc. Then you can do more than just check how much cap they use.
