Hi guys!

Ive been running the following PC as my secondary downloading pc for some while now:

Intel Sandy Canal D865GSA mobo
Intel Celeron 2.66ghz
256mb DDR-266 RAM
Geforce FX5200
Seagate 1000GB SATAII hdd

Recently I got a 512MB DDR-400 stick stick from a friend, and I thought Id recpalce the slower ddr266 with the ddr400, and gain 2x the memory.
Problem is, I cant seem to get this RAM to work in this PC!

1. I know the mobo supports ddr400 ram
2. The ddr400 module is working (tested in in another machine)
3. I tried resetting the BIOS to default, still wont boot up.
4. Ive even tried booting up with both sticks, wont work.

Any suggestions???

The board has two DIMM sockets and supports the following memory features:
• 2.6 V (only) 184-pin DDR SDRAM DIMMs with gold-plated contacts

To use this type of DIMM (DDR400) The processor's system bus frequency must be 800MHz

Either that or you need to populate the entire bank (fill both slots with DDR400 512MB)
