Hi

Does anybody out there have some experience with the Apple server software? At my work we loaded Tiger Server on an old G4 to funtion as a mail and file server. Got everything set up and working, only one problem though.....

While I was setting up all the client computers I enabled a setting in the mail service that copies all mail to my address so I can print it out and give to the relevant person. Two days later, when I tried to switch it off it won't. I deselect the tick box and click SAVE, but when it is done saving, the tick box it on again!!

Can anybody tell me how to fix this in terminal perhaps? I've got no unix experience. Should I rather get someone to come fix it? The local Apple guys (Digicape) has no clue about Apple Server. I had them here to set up the server, but the guy left without acomplishing anything. In the end I got further setting up the server by reading the manual.

Please advise.
Thanks

I wonder what would happen if you deleted your mail account so it had no box to deliver to?

Good idea, but can't do that - it is the main server administrator account. I'm thinking I'll have to format the bloody thing and set it up again. Don't really want to though. That will waste a whole day.

I just spoke to a friend that works at an ISP. He says he will come around tomorrow and try to fix it in terminal 'cause it essentially runs postfix on FreeBSD. I hope that will help!

Thats right - Postfix for smtp and Cyrus for Pop and IMAP.
