Hello im a little new new needing help im the co owner of http://www.gigajob.com and I bought a .com tld instead of a co.za domain how do i promote my site on google so South Africans can know about it? It ranks internationally but not localy if you understand what I mean, sorry if this is the wrong section

It seems like only a specific subdomain (za.***.com) of your website is catered specifically towards South Africans. Are you looking to target the entire domain at South Africans, or just that subdomain?

That being said, your website is definitely ranking, just not exceptionally highly.

hmm seems allot of the guys that target worldwide work set up a different tld for each country they want to target :) or perhaps try an alias for each tld
 
This is where aliasing tld's to the same site can come in handy

You could set your site in Webmaster Tools to target a specific geographical area, but since you need it to be world-wide, I wouldn't touch it, just register the .co.za equivilant and alias that to the .com (perhaps even change some code to pick up on the geographic area based on the tld and go "Gigajob South Africa" or whatever)

This should help push up the rankings a bit, but not by much, you need local link juice (which, IMO, you already did and that was the reason for the post)
