Need internet for weekend

Hi all,

Signed up with SAOL uncapped, account going live on 1st March midnight - but I desperately need internet access this weekend as my 3G is cancelled now.

Can I just signup with someone like Afrihost 1gb for a month and then cancel once the saol account is up and running 100% and just pay afrihost R29.
 
If I signup for the 1GB afrihost R29 account , won't that do the trick?

Does it have to be prepaid?
 
Say I just want the account for one month Afrihost R29 1GB and then cancel?
 
Line rental is currently with telkom, going over to saol in 7 days time.
 
So I can just signup for the R29 for 1GB starter and then cancel when I'm done - no other fees.

How long does activation take is the make an online bank transfer instead of credit card?
Can I signup this late in the month?

Isn't this just a pass for 30 days/5gb
 
Just get a 1GB prepaid account with Afrihost or Webafrica or some other ISP and you can use it for now until the new month and if you don't finish it, the remainder of that 1GB gets rolled over, maybe worthwhile when SAOL is on the blink or something
 
So can you use-up the 1GB and not be tied into paying or have an amount deducted etc.
 
Just signed up now and all looks legit, topups are R67 or something.
