Need more bandwidth

a Client currently has a 1984kbps Diginet line and they are quite eager to get more bandwidth for connectivity to their US office.

They are situated in Paarl (Western Cape, Boland area) and apparently 2mbps is the fastest diginet that can be provided there. It is somewhat remote.

What I want to know is what options are there ? 4mbps+ options that is. ADSL not an option btw.
 
well why is ADSL not an option? if they use fishbone then they can go up to 36MB and just get a couple uncapped accounts.

do they need it for VPN?
 
Would you be fine with a client, demanding 99.9% uptime, using bonded ADSL lines ? The latency alone rules that out.

they use the line for a SSL VPN to the oversea office and is only used to connect the SA office to the rest of the internal network.

Other internet traffic is routed through 2 load balanced ADSL lines.
