Need new ADSL modem

my *** mecer adsl router packed up today so now i need a replacement

anyone can tell me where in ct i can walk in and buy a modem without any hassles?

dont need anything fancy, and also indicate price estimate plz

go to any incredible corrupt store, any computer mania store, any telkom store, makro

There's not a lot of choice. Incredibles sells a chinese type thing SHAMU (?), instead of one from one of the heavyweight brands. Maybe try and get it online or buy a router with built-in modem.

Shiro DSL-805 series? They're awesome routers for their price -- chipset is TI-AR7 which is the same dsl chipset used in the Telkom Mega100WR/105WR and the Netgear DG834(g) v3 routers, which gives slightly better gaming latency and handles longer distances from exchange better. In fact they're a subsidary company of AZTECH, who are the manufacturers of the Telkom Mega series routers.

ok so ive tested my router this morning at a friend's house and it works FINE!

z0mg now it means i have a line fault! and i have to deal with telkom what did i do to deserve this! no god, nooooo!
