If you want Mac compatible, some P55 motherboards are compatible, as well as P45, and many others, but I'm not sure about H55.

That statement is valid for Gigabyte MB's dunno about Intel so maybe look into buying a board from that page.

Note that the integrated Core i3/i5 graphics are not supported in OS X, so you'll wanna get a supported graphics card as well.

So ive done a bit more research, its a mission to find out if its mac compatible. If i run windows 7 home premium how much am I looking at for that plus office? From what I have googles prices vary a hellava lot. Also my display is only 17" so can someone give a link to a store that sells displays. I know zone had specials but I am looking for a bigger variety. Thanks

What do you mean ponder? OS X + iWork is actually much cheaper, but you have to own a Mac .
