Need new laptop. What to get?

Helloe everyone. My first post I am looking for a laptop for my father. He is self employed and using some old HP which doesn't do the job anymore. He wants to spend R6000 or under and just uses email, browsing internet, excel, word and other basic stuff. Screen does not matter because he will plug it into his current LCD. What are some good laptops to get in the price range?? I looked around on Kalahari and was in contact with a guy on gumtree who seems legit, are his prices good??

What to look out for if it's a scam? I emailed the guy and he has his own .co.za address and a website. Seems legit. Also seem to work out of some office in Observatory
