Need new phone, need help deciding

Hi guys

I have a launch iphone 6 and i think its time to upgrade. budget is under 10k.

The Huawei ranges caught my interest, i am looking at

P20 6999
P30 lite 5999/5500
P20 pro R8999

between the P20 and the P30 lite which one is better? i know the processor difference, but the camera on the P30 is what grabs me.

Is the Pro worth it for the extra moola.

I just want a phone that will be better in everything my current device gives me. Any advice?

Depends on how long you plan on keeping the phone. I would go for the better camera and battery life aka p20 pro. Not sure where you see it for R8999 though.

ok i hear you, what about P20 vs P30 lite. camera and battery are good enough on both?

If you are willing to go for an older model I would recommend the P20 Pro over P30 Lite. Camera is better and it atleast has the latest EMUI.

Some people prefer to have the latest model.

Still depends on how long you're planning on having the phone. I'm on contract, my contracts last 2 years, I'm definitely not going to pay top dollar for a state of the art phone that will be redundant in 2 years, so I rather get a mid range phone for less pm. I'm currently on a Samsung J4 for R170 pm where a S8 was like R570 pm.

Agreed with the others on. P20 Pro over the others, it has the most powerful SoC, better Camera and IP67 (Water and Dust resistance)

Get the Huawei P30 from Vodacom.
R439pm and sell it for anything close to R3000 - R3500 in 2 years.

Vodacom sells single sim handsets and not dual sim thou.
