Need to get a PC for a friend. Semi high-end, R16k budget.

Tried evetech.co.za but they dont answer the phone, reply to emails etc...

Where/who else should I try? I don't want hassle and I want it delievered!

Hahahaha

Dont need something imported....I need something locally ;)

We do the international stuff....

Just order from prophecy and pay to have it assembled, they do that.

CPU: i7 950 R2581
MOBO: MSI R2144
RAM: Mushkin 3x2GB 1333 R1066
GPU: 2x AMD 6870 R2489
CASE: CM 692 Advanced /w window R1033
PSU: Corsair TX750w R1282
HDD: 1.5TB Samsung R675
(Optional) SSD (from wootware): G.Skill Phoenix 120GB R 1,999 (currently out of stock)
DVDDrive: Samsung 24x R212
CPUCooler: CM H70 R1038
extra Fans: 2x CM Blade Master PWM R94 for Cooler then pick some nice blue or other colours for the case.

If you need screen and peripherals then I would just get 1x6870, change PSU and definitley get the SSD
PSU: Corsair GS600 R891 or even the 500w
DISPLAY: Samsung B2430H R1968
Then pick which ever mouse n keyboard you want.. I'd recommend x8 and x6 from microsoft

System assembly R300

It's just silly to give the names of computer shops! You'll do much better by building your own rig and the best of all is that you get help with selecting your components FOR FREE here! I'm all for the suggestions that nakedpeanut made!

I'm definitely jealous of you guys that you can now get that impressive MSI motherboard for under R2200! I mean, I've paid a fortune for my Asus P6T Deluxe v2 just to have a nice gap between the two PCI-e 16x slots and it doesn't even have USB3/SATA3 like that MSI motherboard.

The only thing that I would change would be the H70 CPU cooler if your budget doesn't allow it, to a Cogage True Spirit for under R500.

Also, if you're only going for 1x HD 6870, then consider getting the CoolerMaster GX550 or the Corsair CX500 PSU.
