My dad has this old website, with his host he has had for years; it doesn't have any SEO, no .NET capability and just a straight forward HTML site. He is basically wanting a Content Management Site where he can add and do things and pretty much make it pretty.

The SEO side and the hosting. Please suggest someone that I can use and someone who has some templates, who will get the CMS site up and running and do the SEO for him. I'm clueless about this and trying to help him out.

Edit: I did look at Wix and tinkered a bit with a demo site there, but I hear Wix is quite pricey and complicated to set up.

You could also download WordPress and host it yourself if you have some basic knowledge of how to set a website up with a hosting provider. No coding necessary though.

Yo dude drop me a pm. I can hook you up with some knowledge how to get this done for free on wix with the domain or to do it yourself.

Thanks Raithlin. Will these Wordpress guys do it all for me? I don't know anything about SEO.

I'd check out an article like https://themegrill.com/blog/best-wordpress-seo-plugins/ - once you choose a plugin it's as simple as picking it from the plugins page and installing. WordPress handles all the installation for you.

As for installing Wordpress itself, most local hosts have an installation tool (I forget the name) that will install WordPress on your site for you. It's really easy to do these days.

Hi
You have the following options:
- Install WordPress, you can get free template, WordPress have a lot of free theme, you can even install them from WordPress admin side under themes
- Purchase a premium theme, they come with more advance features
- Let someone else help you on the design

Regarding SEO you have the top best plugins All in one SEO and Yoast, also do not forget WordPess security and optimisation, Wordfence pluing for security, WP supper cache / W3 total cache for cache, wp optimise for database optimisation, enable php 7 on your hosting server, activate the free let's encrypt SSL certificate (good for SEO also), enable contents compression and image optimisation
