This is a bit long and i'm sorry but i really need some advice here
So I terminated my iBurst account because the great people in their accounts department keep billing me twice every month and where totally incompetent when it comes to paying me back. So i wrote the money off and moved on with my life.
16 months later a get a call from some iBurst manager wanting to know why a canceled... being such a friendly and well adjusted consumer I waist 47 min of my life explaining the whole story.
At the end of which he admits he would of canceled his subscription as well, he explains that he will investigate the matter as they want to keep me happy. 3 days later I get another call confirming that iBurst accounts people did submit the refund payments but due to a "unknown technical issue" the double debit orders where never actually refunded.
Another 7 days later I get a proof of payment for R450.00 showing that iBurst has finally paid back the money they owe me.
Awesome hey?... but wait there is more.
At the end of the month iBurst deducts R450.00 form my bank account, so a little confused I call them. To my surprise my they have reactivated my iBurst account and I am liable for services rendered. After about a week of calls and emails they work that they “accidently” reactivated my account? They agree to refund me again.
At this point my well adjusted sense of humor ran out about a week ago, so I told them to go **** themselves and lose my details as I don’t want nothing further to do with them.
Fair, that was a very rude of me but I can only be messed with like this up to a point you know? I considered the matter resolved.
A few days later I get another proof of payment for R450.00…
Awesome hey?... but wait there is more.
A few months later…. Today the 17th July 2010 at 17:45 I get my mail and lo and behold a letter of demand form iBurst for R450.00 Threatening me with legal action if I do not pay them in 7 days.
So I work hard for my money and I try my best to keep a clean credited record as I will need to buy a car and a house one day when I’m all crown up you know.
So should I pay them or….
I am open to suggestions here as I am at the end of my rope here…
Please help anyone?
