need some gear+gen advice for me lock

struggling to get my crit to a respectable level because also worrying about maintaining the hit cap of 202...

Shadow damage is at 1130 self buffed, where should i be looking to get new gear from? and also what slots should i need to aim for?

Your Crit isnt too bad ,21+5 % not bad at all
You could raid MH and BT , if u can find a guild
Otherwise get more badges and get teh doomguard gloves (or whatever) from isle badges
And fix the pvp mainhand

Use www.maxdps.com and Ull see once you reach 1400+ shadowdam with consumables, buffs and wrath totem ,haste will out scale +dam
Also try get the blessings mooncard trinket and dont use gems to get ur crit up

I also see ur using immo-incinernate-conflag thats a big nono
SB spam all the way it scales betterwith ISB. Conflaging in PVE is a huge nono

i have the blessings trinket, i just need the airmans ribbon of gallantry on there for the crit :/
i dont use incinerate at all, but i do use conflag to deal a quick 1.5k damage just before immolate runs out

I highly recommend you do not immolate at all!
Simply if your on curse duty put up ur COS/COE if ur not then COA
and spam that SB throu your keyboard

Theres no need for emberstorm ,improved Immo and conflag
I would rather use those points on soul leech ,backlash and most importantly nether protection

The idea is rather cast another SB than keep immo up and conflag it( hence using up a tick and wasting mana)
Spamming SB and keeping the ISB debuff(shadow Embrace) up keeps the dps throu the roof
Its kinda hard for a Loc to let go of his dots iknow, but it gets exciting when you SB's start critting 8k

The only time i use immolate is when the fight is just started to avoid a big crit and insta-aggro. 1 on an entire fight. As 21/40 ALL talents in fire is worthless since you wont be using it without gimping your dps. So many think that 21/40 is a firebuild and guess what it isnt. The only point in fire needed is 1 in emberstorm just to get down to the next tier.

Casting Immolate reduces your DPS in a 21/40 Shadow Destruction build. It's been posted here many times before.

Well searing is mostly used in tanking Leo and Illidian , which both proc nether protection and wipe raid unless you remove it. So they pretty much dont go hand in hand

However its nice for finishing off mobs while grinding ye

I understand your reasons behind saying drop it , but on theory crafting its a good idea to use it as an upper for dps.
