Ok i rolled allaince pala on spinebreaker.
First alaince toon i started to play serouis.
Kinda like it and i noticed the dps is not as bad either well i am only lvl 16.

Thing is i played a druid and loved it kinda intO hybryd classes hate not being able to heal myself.

And i even pawned a cocky warlock :).
So i was thinking goining hybrid spec too retri most point but about 15 points in prot for more armour better buffs and 10 points in holy for more intel and strenth note this is for lvling.Wondering what you guys think is best for lvling?

I see ALOT more hybrid potencial in a pala then druid maybe i am wrong.
Do note i dont realy want to best in one thing i want a mana effiecent build with decent killing power and a bit of healing power cause i will be asked too heal aswell in instances but keep inmind i solo quests from time to time aswell.

Druids are the best Hybrids.

Pallies make excellent healers and good situational tanks but once you hit 70 don't expect to get groups or raid spots as Ret.

Retlol is only really viable from T6 level (outside of PvP) where it becomes crazy good.

Well i got a friend that plays a horde pala on TH eu server hes ret in kara tops dps dont ask me how but i have seen it when i tanked for them with his S1 epix.

But that not what i am planing to do i just kinda need a change from my druid found the pala very refreshing.

Kinda being a druid so long hearing it from everyone that hybrids are not supose to be the best in any field (dps tanking or even healing)So yeah i can life with being second with dps or what ever.
I all ready see the vallue of pala in group he can taunt mobs off healers he can shield them i see alot of oh **** bottons on this char that what i like about a druid. And it kinda feels nice to have all you abilities in 1 form.

Sometimes a boring class to one guy can appeal to another.

But i cant say much yet only lvl 16 but loving it so far in pvp and pve.
And i do see your point retri dps will be frowned apon by many like ballance druid dps.I got lvl 8 mage on this server and a lvl 40 one on my horde server.
But i am kinda hybid fan and do hate no being able to heal myself.

My mage may even make way for priest later.

Well i did suprise my raid leader in kara with noobkin dps but we were all under geared.

But i found getting into raid groups much harder than pawning dps meter. And these days on my druid i am tanking most of the time in pugs cause i transfered to dragonmaw some are good some are bad.

But i still find some heroics harder than raiding 10mans.

Got high hopes form pala thx for info dude :)

Pallies have a lot going for them.
They're damn indestructible, they're the most efficient healers in the game and they're the best multi-mob tanks around.

If you're enjoying your pally then I'd suggest leveling him/her. You'll have lots of options when you're 70.

Not quite true...

We have a pally as one of the main tanks for SSC/Eye/Hijal and BT. We also have ret pallies along in every raids for dps. But sadly there are still ignorant people who don't want to party with ret pallies.

Well i saw i can get 2 heals off in a single bubble i kinda see that as imba :).
If only i could get 2 heals off with my druid i am not talking instand hots :(
Goining from 5% health to full :)

Situational Tanks.

Your Pally MT isn't gonna tank every boss but he's gonna be doing some imba tanking on RoS/MH Trash/etc.

They're really good if played well.

Ret is still so iffy IMO. 3% raid wide Crit is really great but the guys still gotta push out some reasonable DPS to earn his spot and unfortunately not many Ret pallies can do that.
I think the biggest factors around bad Ret are the fact that they've never been a good DPS spec until recently and the fact they require careful itemisation.
Their combat cycles are pretty easy to master.

I personally don't see what's so hard about Ret as a Raider but judging from the number of Retfailures I see people seem to struggle.

As a pala you have many options.
While leveling i suggest you start with retribution.
When you get into the mid level 40's you should respec to protection.
Protection pala actually still do good dps and die hard.
But their strong point is AOE. They can AOE about 5 mobs their own lvl.

Lvl 70 your best bet would be to spec holy or protection if you want a regular raid spot.
As retribution you will have the same problem as a moonkin druid.

Some other tips i can give.
MODS : Pally Power - helps with sorting out blessing, especially when there is 2 palas in the group or a big raid group or battleground
Healbot - If you are gonna heal this is a must have.
Quartz - To see your spell casting latency

I also found it useful to make a macro for when i use judgement.
It automatically cast my Seal after Judging
Something like this

/Cast Hammer of Justice
/stopcasting
/cast Seal of Command
/stopcasting

Whenever you gonna pvp or do a tough mob fight, use Seal of Crusader and judge with that first...then Command.

Read the 3 stickies for each spec.
The holy one is especially interresting as it gives tips for lvling to 70.

Th for the advice dude :)
Hows it goining you still on TH?
Think ill transfer back or reroll there if i ever play horde again.
Getting a new PC on friday :).
Then maybe my frames would not drop two 20fps in crowded areas?

Well miss you guys on TH.

Going well here thx.
Yeah you should never have left.
I have been on those quiet servers.
Its nice for a while, but in the end its much nicer to be around lots of people....SA people.
I actually paid to transfer my char to TH.

Yeah miss you too, but cant believe you rolled alliance.

Talking about allaince and horde i hear BE palas get diffrent ability than alliance pala wich is best?

Well i want to play pala but BE looks too gay .
Human and Dwarf look a bit better.

No my main reason for rolling alliance on spinebreaker is for diffrent quests and stuff kinda took 54 alt two lvl 40+ make you sick of same quests.
I still hate gnomes that will never change. And i give them crap :) .

The racial abilities that BE get make their palas pawn. Go silence. I think that is the only difference, though i could be wrong

Belf Pallies also get a slightly different Seal to Alliance.
Seal of Blood. I think the Alliance one is Seal of Righteousness.
Basically it just means that a Belf Ret Pally does better DPS then Alliance.

Seal of Righteousness is race-agnostic. The Alliance-only version is called Seal of Vengeance. And yes, Seal of Blood beats out Seal of Command (which is the only Alliance option for Ret, SoV is a tanking seal).
