Long story....
3 years ago I went into a business deal starting a new business. The business needed a small one ton truck but could not get finance from the banks. I applied in my personal capacity and 2 years ago purchased a new 2013 Hyundai H100 truck. In 2014 i purchased a new Kia K2700 truck. Everything was fine with debit orders for the two trucks coming off my account and the company refunding me.
Due to various reasons, the business is currently not doing so well and payments can no longer be maintained. I have collected both trucks as they were not able to refund me for the last debit orders. I can maintain the payment for about another 10 months before it becomes an issue. The business will most likely fold within the next 3 months.
So my question is, anyone know of any options that i can get these two trucks to work for me? Not sure exactly what there is available in terms of subcontract courier work. Settlement is around R150k and R200k. Ideal option would be to sell to cover at least the settlement.
Not looking to go into the what ifs regarding the failed business. Just looking for some suggestions on a way forward. Fortunately i can cover the installments for 10 months before it starts to impact my financial position negatively.
