Need Statip IP adsl

Who can you recommend to provide me with a normal, capped, shaped adsl account with a static IP address?

Can't help you with the ISP but why do you want a static IP?

I'm doing development that needs to interface with a seperate system on IS, and they can only open the firewall for a specific IP.

I'm sure there are a few ISP's that do offer static IP's. I know www.xdsl.co.za and www.datapro.co.za do. XDSL probably more reasonable - R500 for 5 IP's and 5GB. I'm sure IS would also offer a solution.

The comms goes over the internet I'm not sure if the MAC adddress will be visisble? Either way, they only mention IP addresses.

I've found that on google too, but R1500.00 per month for adsl is stupidly expensive.

Thats why I asked for recommendations. Are you trying to get your posts up ?

It won't be visible, it's a OSI Layer 2 address/protocol that does not get routed.

IS offers this.

Think its R1500 setup with the router and R830 per month for 10GB and R520 for 5Gb

You get 5 static ip addresses.

The problem is that IS configure and control your router though
