so my kid is doing online GED this year but her laptop is too slow (2GB RAM) - max capacity 8GB (only 1 slot)
so I'm searching for a 8GB card

Kingston PC3L-12800s (low voltage DDR3)

Where can I get the best price? so far I'm getting R1299

know the processor is Celeron and it's running Win 10

2gb 1rx16 pc3l 12800s

should the 8gb also be 1rx 16 ? (not sure what this means)

Yeah I was a little concerned since you said it's an entry-level machine. 8GB should get it going nicely.
