Need to find a web dev company

Hey guys.

My brother is looking to get a website made for him.


His exact description of what is required is


We want a simple site that shows pictures of our Vito van and what we charge for people to rent it. Our basic fare plan

We also want to put some additional items for purchase on the site like snacks/cool drinks etc that people can buy when they travelling in our van. Going to rugby with mates and you can get a coke and a snack in the van.

We don’t need fancy security or anything is basically just a landing page with the pictures of the van and our contact details should someone want to inquire about renting it..


Can you guys a) recommend a good company? b) Tell me what something like this will cost?

Not that hard. I assume you already have these details down?
WordPress > pick a theme > create the pages > profit?

Anyway if you really don't have the time, maybe PM Thor.

He will spend whatever it costs.

He approached 1 company who wanted to charge him R35k.

Hence I thought I would talk to you guys first.

Yeah that's ridiculous. You're looking for a design company, not a development one.

This doesn't really require some custom solution.
 
Thor - yes, even Thor - should be able to do it for around R3000
 
R1000 bucks and I'll do it for you.

Why a thousand bucks, well sushi aint cheap and my front end skills is on par.

If that sounds like a majestic offer, let me know the we post the site here afterwards and mybb can give some input.

Assuming it's just a wow front page with the van some text, an about you section some other static pages and a contact form with php mail.

As for the graphics, perhaps someone of mybb can be of assistance, my graphic designer will be too expensive for this.

Was about to recommend Web Crew for sub-R20k sites, but that's a steal Thor!
Interested to see the finished product... :)
 
You will get hundreds offers from as far afield as India.

/not talking about myBB members.

One condition thou - He has to have everything ready today ( wording ), as I won't be able to work on this in the week so want to finish it up over the weekend.
