Need to fix this error

Please help me to fix this error that came up after i started my pc.

"The instruction at 0x00000000 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memeory could not be written.

Click on OK to terminate the program."

zlclient.exe - Application Error on top and that is all it says on the error message coming up.

A quick google says it could be a ZoneAlarm issue.

Tried re-installing ZoneAlarm yet?

Well what i did was to download Free Windows Registry Repair and also used Advanced System Care and Anti Malware Bytes and then rebooted my pc and it was all fixed.

Do you think this was the right way to do it?

I also noted that ZoneAlarm does have this problem that everytime they do an update this seems to happen then.

So i switched to Comodo Firewall which seems a much better alternative.
