Need to re-register my restored Mini

Hi,

My Mini is finally been restored and it's time to get it registered.

The first problem is, I didn't get any Transfer of Ownership papers sorted out back when I brought the car 4 years ago. What I did get was a Pink Registration form.

A couple of weeks ago, I went to the Traffic Department and they confirm that the registration papers are the same details as whats on the Natis system, however the car has automatically been
de-registered.

Does anyone know what procedure to follow and which traffic departments I need to visit in order to make this process as smooth as possible.

I dunno if they've changed things now but it used to be you went to the TD and got a 3 page printout, then you take that along with you to Police clearance where they check the chassis and engine numbers amd weigh it, and then you do road worthy.
