So seems like someone I know has managed to get malware on my pc that let's them upload screenshots of what I'm doing on my pc.

Super antisptware and Malwarebytes haven't picked up anything neither has my avast.

Would like to avoid formatting my pc.

Check for Parental control or employee monitoring software.
Could also be remote control software like teamviewer, ammy admin, vnc, logmein etc.

Edit: these would most likely not be detected as malware

+1. How did you pick this up?

Whenever a screenshot is taken I notice the effect on pc.

They monitor this forum as well so would rather give give specifics in case they use different software with effects I don't notice.

Monitoring work pc is fine. Home pc is unacceptable.

Windows Defender or MSE and enable adware protection aswell http://www.ghacks.net/2015/11/30/add-adware-protection-to-windows-defender/.

EDIT: seems more like

I thought the KBG was now defunct?

Check in your AV program , they normally change settings to allow the spy ware to operate .
This will point you to the programs that are doing the deed .
