Hi

My office's got a Telkom ADSL account with 4Gb cap, and we need to upgrade it as we're starting to top up fairly regularly at the end of the month.

What options do Telkom have? I had a shufty at their website, but it is confusing (as usual).

Regards

Keep your ADSL line rental with Telkom and switch to Afrihost as your ISP. Signup for R99/10GB on a month to month and see if that is enough data for you, otherwise switch to an uncapped account and roam the interwebs without a worry :-)

We want SAIX connectivity and not SEACOM connectivity.

So it'll have to go via Telkom, unfortunately.

Ah...then I suggest openweb. R190/10GB at R19/GB topup. I've been with them for almost 6 months now and the only reason I'm switching to afrihost is because it's R100 cheaper...for now.

Go onto their usage tracker tool and apply for "self cap", there you are able to set your own cap and only pay for the data consumed

Thanks.

Did that, upped the cap to a generous amount.

Now we shouldn't have any more "sudden death" issues...
