Hi people, how are you? Today Kawuleza came to do a signal test at my duplex. They have a tower very close to me on Bottelary hill, but trees are blocking the "line of sight".
I cannot see Tygerberg either, but have clear line of sight to the hill in between Mooiplaas and Zevenwacht. I see a tower there but don't know if it is an ISP tower. Who else can I contact apart from Kawuleza and Kingsley?

I am looking at the 384kbps Uncapped R299 per month package like Kawuleza offers.

All info will be appreciated!!

I am right next to M23 Bottelary Road, in between Brackenfell Blvd and Jacaranda Street.

Cheers,

Looks like trees are blocking my line of sight, what now?

@Peyperj: I have a friend in that same area with a highsight. If you still need internet I can give you his details.

Have a look @ cape-connect.com i think they cover your area, i have been a client of thiers for almost 2 years and other 1 hardware fault, a bush fire and an eskom incident i have had flawless service.
The hardware fault was with my hardware and it was till under warranty and got replaced with a much better unit, the fire, well you should know about the 1 on helderberg mountain, was without net for 3 days which is pretty impressive as over R200k in hardware was lost and well eskom is eskom, what can we do, they turned the power off and 5 days worth of generators and UPS backups would of been more than adequate under normal circumstances, but with eskom nothings ever normal.

I have two connections with Kawuleza at two different sites and have had lots of problems with them over the last year. Constant disconnects which corrupt downloads, high latency problems especially for international connectivity (and even site to site connectivity) and poor feedback on support issues. I am desperately looking for anothe ISP that can provide a better connection using the same equipment. I had to pay for the equipment and am now stuck with it.
