Needing advice on contract cancellation.Please help!

A Vodacom contract was taken out for me by my employer(A large corporate)
What happens if i resign?
Does the contract get cancelled or do i have to take ownership of the contract?
Can anyone please give me some advice?

What I've seen happening is that the company keeps the numbr and just issues it to the chap/chapette who takes over from you.

I suppose you could take over the contract if you wanted.

If the company is going to cancel the contract (you would need to find out if thats what normally happens) then you could do a contract transfer - try taking the contract over. Terms & conditions are like applying for a new contract.
