AA approved centres or well known service centres that can test drive and do a proper diagnostics.

I think if you really want the vehicle you should pay for the inspection, the inspection should take place when you test drive the car

I've arranged to first see the car and test-drive it myself. Then, if I'm happy, I will arrange for me and the seller to meet at an AA or Dekra, I will pay for the inspection. And then if everything is ok, I will sign the OTP.

Its a fully private deal, so I think this will be best.

Edit: The initial dealership vehicle was sold, this is now a private sale
