Neoconnect Prime and Torrents

Hi Guys

I have neotel Prime Uncapped and have tried downloading some torrents using the uTorrent app.
For some reason this is absolutely slow downloads less than 1kb/s or nothing at all. i have run speedtest from speedtest.net and my speeds are as follows

dl - 998kb/s
up - 94kb/s
ping - 445


Why is this ? does it have to do with open ports ?
Is there anything i can do ?

If I remember correctly Neotel automatically block all ports(for your safety) So just ask them to open it for u. But make sure u got protection.

With My Neoconnect light i used to download torrents and +- 2,8Kb/s . . . Last week i phoned to have my ports unblocked, now a single download with 12 seeds downloads at 16Kb/s to 17Kb/s . . . . .
Do yourself a favor and have them unblocked

They Unblock them pretty quickly, They'll phone you to say they've fone it, mine took a few hours.

Try using Vuze as well. Its a awsome torrent client. Downloads are fast but of course we all know the speed of torrents are dependend on the number of seeds...
