Howzit forumites,

I currently have the 15 package and I'm looking to pay that extra 30,000 cents extra a month and get uncapped, I would appreciate input from you guys who have the uncapped, if you could tell me:

A: Your average line speed
B: Your average usage per month
C: Do you try and max out your usage month to month?
D: Is your service worth your 100,000 cents to you?

Thx in advance ;)

^^ I wouldnt bother mate. I am on 15gig Neoflex and the service is bad bad bad!
If i d/l one gig a month its alot - because it never ever works.

Neotel is a sh^t company and i am cancelling at the end of this month. TO HELL with your 2 year contract.

IMHO I would wait. Reason for this is I suspect Neotel is trying to cram as many users onto as little base-stations as possible hence everyone getting crappy speeds. ( My suspicions are fueled by advice given to me by a friend who works for Neotel and in his words he said that if im looking for fast internet, I'm looking at the wrong place ) Voice is good... data not so much.

Until they pull their finger out their arse and improve the network instead of trying to sell more services, the quicker I will change my mind.

Cram us they will. Its inevitable. Its business :p

For the last moth or so I've been averaging this daily

Today's

Incoming Outgoing
======== ========
Current Transfer Rate 22.0 KB/s 881 bytes/s
Average Transfer Rate 29.1 KB/s 914 bytes/s
Maximum Transfer Rate 181 KB/s 13.1 KB/s
Total Data Transferred 1.16 GB 36.3 MB

Generally, I do 1.8gigs 16hours a day.

Ye, the speed sucks. But seriously? Im doing 40 odd gigs a month. For R900, tis a BARGIN :D

Im on neoflex and my speeds are fantastic. but then egen ive invested in r2.5k of signal enhancing equipment... prior to that i had no signal at all.

Sorry to hear that mate, I'm blessed with a 2mbit connection at my current location with the 15g package and I have used my 15gb bandwidth up every month since connection.

A: 130KB/s (1040kbps), 30-100 KB/s on torrents
B: 50GB - 120GB
C: No
D: Yes, because I have never had an ADSL line faster than 512kbps and this beats it for me.

Im on a 15 gig package, end up using between 15-22gb per month.

A: 100kB/s during office hours, 150kB/s after hours.
B: min 40GB, max 160GB
C:Not any more
D: Definitely, was paying almost double for 26GB blended 4Mbps adsl bandwidth.

A. 80 - 120 KB/s - On ftp tho. I dont do torrents.
B. 80 GB on average (best month so far was about 150GB)
C. no
D. Yes cos I was paying the same (R999) for a crappy 384kb uncapped (and throtteled to death) line.
