Hi all,

Does anyone know if the Meyersdal area in Alberton is covered?

I can't seem to find the street that I am looking for on the map.

DJ Theron Crescent.

May I suggest you try the next nearest street name. With all the name changes that took place, it is possible the new name info is not on the maps yet.

Or you could try using another suburb name...

I searched for DJ Theron Crescent on yellowpages maps (http://maps.yellowpages.co.za) and it did not find your street either.

If you find the nearest street, then you can pan and zoom to get to your street then do a coverage check.

Thank you for trying, one of the nearest streets to that point is Phillip Engelbrecht.

Called the Neotel Call Centre and left numerous messages for someone that could perhaps assist me and was promised a call back but, to no avail.

Been trying to get a response from Neotel for almost 2 weeks, I think I gave it enough time.

Yesterday, I applied online for a Telkom line, seen that Neotel was not interested in my business.

Got a call today from Telkom, telling me that my application was being processed and I should receive an SMS with the Ref.No. still today or latest tomorrow.

Seems to me that Telkom is still the only company interested in ripping people off but, at least they do respond.

I have been connected on the 23rd Feb with a 4mb ADSL line, all in all, from a new telephone line (a new townhouse complex) to a self install ADSL it took 3 weeks. I am still waiting for someone from Neotel to call me back lol .. good service Neotel
