Neotel and ADSL

Before investing into an ADSL modem, i would like to have the option to change over to Neotel when they start their internet services.

Would ADSL lock me into a Telkom relationship, or would I in future be able to use the ADSL modem for Neotel services.

I think as long as you have access to your modem settings it should work on both the Neotel and Telkom adsl networks. I also think that Neotel is still at least 6 months away from offering any adsl anyway, so you might aswell order your adsl today.

Your ADSL modem should work on any ADSL line.
You may want to get one that is ADSL 2 ready - if you have not already bought.

Nope, as long as u dont sign a 24 month contract (comes with free modem). This way, u can cancel at any time. Just go out and buy your own modem and if u know how, ask for self-install.
