Neotel is a choice we have and must exercise. If we donot support Neotel, we will be agreeing to higher prices and terrible service.

Neotel is very good at the moment. If Neotel gets 50 000 data users in a year this would send a clear message to all other operators.

Telkom too will also reduce prices when they see not many people are signing up.

Dude since 2002 Telkom has lost over a million fixed-line subscribers, it doesn't seem to care about losing bussiness...I think it is too large and too inept to really be able to react to Neotel...they won't reduce their prices.

all areas that have the Neotel backbone passing through it , is obviously getting coverage first. The good news is that all areas in between will definitely be getting Coverage in a few months. Durban should be well sorted out by jan 2009. Things are going quite well by South African Standards i must say.

If u covered then use Neotel if u not Prepaid 3g 4 a few months then get Neotel.

We the users will determine prices.

Telkom's slowly losing the battle. Only we can win the war.

Rollout depends on multiple factors, particularly the availability of sites and various permissions. As a result, the order of site activation doesn't necessarily match priority. If there's demand in your area, and no site yet, we'd welcome referrals to friendly building owners with roof space.

However, we're are intentionally covering a variety of areas across the cities - it's not just some areas that deserve better services.
