Neotel cannot connect to any secure site

Yes Still waiting now for over a month. The usage from September, The new wonder modem that will allow me to connect to more than one computer, my emails to be answered and of course for neotel to tell me to get lost cancel my contract so that I can move along. Ho yes Sunday that was yesterday no connection what so ever to internet or voice for the whole morning.

I do believe that all that comment on here regarding Neotel have Neotel. If not then you don't have the RIGHT to comment so get lost... If you do have neotel then Please comment.

You can connect more than one PC to the internet using ICS - I have done it through my ADSL router. And yes agreed.. their were issues with Neotel from about Sunday morning 2am until 3pm, there was zero service.

Neotel is currently horrendous.

It is just terrible, +-100kbps download speeds. "We'll call you back" should be our national motto.

Exactly what they have been telling me for the last 10 days
"We'll call you back" but never happens.

Currently I'm at 150kbps, was 30-40kbps a few days ago, that's a big step down from 1mbps which is what I got for the first week.

So while fighting to get my connection fixed I also got a nice little surprise on my bill yesterday. 6gb over cap, Netlimiter shows me only over by 1.5g so where the heck did the other 4.5gb come from.
My over cap looks something like this, First month over by 7gb, second = 4gb third = 6gb.

I'm going to stick it out and hope they can sort it.

You seem like a very angry man. Why don't you stop for a second and have a cookie. Their are plenty of people on this forum that share your opinion on Neotel, and plenty that don't. Surely we are all entitled to our opinion? Or do we not have the "RIGHT"?

WTF ? What type of cr@p OS or hardware is your PC running on??? I have battle tested this in both XP and Ubuntu and have yet to reboot my PC - not even power cycling the USB is required.

What people would say to just get a post.

I'm also on Lite and find depending on the duration of the call I find its pretty easy and placing the handset back and resuming internet activity. If the call is generally under a minute I dont ping timeout from IRC and am usually able to carry on as if nothing happened. If its a little longer than a minute I have to unplug the USB cable and plug it back in and wham I can dialup again.

Now there are people who say how good things are just because they have a TV and saw the ad or read about it. Those people and reviewers etc have NO Right to comment because at the end of the day they have no clue of how good or should I say BAD Neotel is.

It might just get sorted out... So I would say this. If you can wait a few months then wait... Lets us poor sods fight the battle with Neotel. Please remember one thing this is a wireless service.. and with ANY wireless service it has way to many ups and downs, Now using VC to compare usage and prove to neotel that something is not right with there billing and also up and down. ETC. If you have ADSL and its works ok then keep it of course until Neotel or whoever can give us a fiber connection to the front door. at an afforable price!

Now waiting to see what they can offer us existing users with the new device.

MMmmm --- my Neotel billing is spot on. My exceeded usage is what I expected. Then again, you sound like the mobile content consumers (@ work) that deny downloads after getting high cell-phone accounts only to be proven wrong.

But I wonder if the fact that I use a proper OS vs MS cr@p has anything to do with ???????
