5 years ago I moved JHB back down to the coast. I was one of the first signing up for Neotel Prime uncapped. (Which back then was er, quite an experience to say the least.)

I have a brand new in box Neotel phone sitting here that I am contemplating on tossing out with the trash. Is there still any use for it at all? Even to Gauteng peeps? Don't know where or who else to ask.

Style,

Where is "Coast"?. Depending on answer (DBN, PE & CTN), if you do have coverage (ignore the Neotel coverage maps, I am 1km from official coverage, and it works perfectly for years now), I would "convert" it to a prepaid phone service. Use it at home/work etc, of give it to family/friends. You already have the phone, so no fixed monthly charges. Just go to WIC and convert, then buy some airtime. Cheapest and easiest voice you'll ever get. Don't buy large amount of airtime, as it last quite long, even with lots of overseas calls, as you will loose the balance after 1 year. You can buy airtime at most shops & (Sasol) garages.

Else you are welcome to hook up when next you are in JHB, and I will pass it on to someone in need.
