Neotel Coverage

Hi Guys

I am situated in Midlands Estate (Midstream) and I want to get broadband internet at home, I have browsed the Neotel site but cant seem to get the coverage map working.

Can anyone here tell me whether Midlands Estate has coverage for NeoBroadband.

I also want to know whether a 2Mb package will be sufficient for downloads and the occasional streaming of movies.

If Neotel is not available, what are my other options.

Yes, the Neotel coverage map is not easy to drive. PM me your addy, but i can check. In general, not a lot of LTE (Neotel or other) coverage in Midlands, but if you are overlooking Olifantsfontein / Clayville, you may be in luck. The other problem I see is that the coverage map is theoretical, i.e. it looks like it stops at 3km from base station. I'm pretty sure the signal does not stop "mid-air" , but I suppose the trick will be to "convince" them to come out and do a test.

I use to have the 2 Mbps, and streaming works 100% (Netflix), but am on 4 Mbps now (courtesy of free upgrade).
