Went to Telkom, ordered a line - They'll be installing it early next week.

The friendliest staff I've ever delt with. I'm amazed!! Telkom and efficiency shouldn't go hand-in-hand, but they seem to have jacked themselves up 1000 fold.

Yes. Got some inside info into what has happened at the stores. The staff have been given training and those that are hopeless at customer service have been shifted to more suitable positions in the company.

Its such a pleasure to deal with them these days.

I have to eventually apply for ADSL for my wifes small business next week. I've even got the one sales lady prepared to drop the forms off in person for my wife to sign (OK her business is next door but still) should we not be able to get to the Telkom store.
 
Telkom is good if they provide telkom lines where you live, I mean i dont even stay on a farm, i stay in Cape Town Bellville and no telkom lines in the complex i live.

Yeah, my dad had the same problem in Bellville. 3G was a nightmare end of month with everyone trying to get online to do internet banking, etc
 
I cant think of a single person who actually uses Neotel.These guys are dead in the water.And im not talking about the Seacom cable.
